Bridget Rose Kennicott, 12, of Carpentersville entered the Kingdom of heaven on February 15, 2017 after her long, courageous battle with Batten disease. She began her life like any other child, meeting each milestone with enthusiasm. She loved to giggle, run, climb, dance and just go fast. Bridget was a love bug known for her tight squeezes. After the onset of seizures at age three, her life drastically changed. Bridget’s abilities deteriorated and she could no longer do all the active things she loved. Batten disease stole her livelihood and it has taken her body. She is now free to dance again with the angels.
