Updated: Oct 26, 2018

Some of us may have differences in defining how our neighbor and the intent of this biblical passage.

Some of us place geographical definitions on the word neighbor and some of us may have a different interpretation of the responsibility of love/ Profiles in Catholicism suggests that because we are members of a global community of faith that we have some degree of responsibility to all of our brothers and sisters in Christ globally.

In our July issue we have an interview with Father John Kumar in India that includes a description of the challenges of his parishioner- Alwin Rex- who has serious pituitary gland disease.

We are asking our readers. If possible, to send a donation of any amount for Alwin Rex to Father John’s friend in the United States - Father Thomas Ayyaneth with a notation that the donation is for Alwin Rex.
