A Message from the Editor
Mental illness has affected my family as it has many others. The challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic have had a profound impact of the mental health of many thousands of people and have resulted in many suicides. Please keep those with mental health challenges in your prayers.
The Covid-10 pandemic has also resulted in an increase of drug addiction
and increased use of pornography on the internet. We have interview with a leading psychologist on the pornography challenge.
Some of our newer readers many not be aware of what our Featured Reports are. They are articles by our members that provide incisive insights into the topics that we cover. All of our Featured Reports on listed in this webpage.

Prayers
Prayers for Mental Illness Recovery and Understanding
For the Sick Person
O Father of mercies and God of all comfort, our only help in time of need: We humbly ask that you behold, visit, and relieve those who suffer from depression, anxiety, schizophrenia and other mental illnesses. Look upon them with the eyes of your mercy; comfort them with a sense of your goodness; preserve them from the temptations of the enemy; and give them patience under their affliction. In your good time, restore them to health, and enable them to lead the rest of their life in reverence of you, and to your glory. Grant that finally they may dwell with you in life everlasting, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
For Recovery
O God, the strength of the weak and the comfort of sufferers: Mercifully accept our prayers, and grant to your children who suffer with mental illnesses the help of your power, that their sickness may be turned into health, and our concern into joy; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
For Strength and Confidence
Heavenly Father, giver of life and health: Comfort and relieve those challenged by serious and chronic mental and emotional illnesses. Give your power of healing to those who minister to their needs, that they may be strengthened in their weakness and have confidence in your loving care; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
For Doctors and Nurses [Mental Health Care Providers
Sanctify, O Lord, those whom you have called to the study and practice of the arts of healing, and to the prevention disease and pain. Strengthen them by your life-giving Spirit, that by their ministries the health of the community may be promoted and your creation glorified; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Prayer for murdered human rights workers and justice activists
Murder and death on Philippine soil, true Christians
killed for their faith in justice, love and truths,
they loved, like you, Lord the downtrodden,
and were killed by brutes.
They believed and worked for the dignity and rights of all,
They were captured and killed and brought to a deadly fall.
Lord you led the way by your passion and death, by your sacrifice for those oppressed,
May we imitate that love and uplift those crushed and depressed.
With you we never stop to work for justice and truth, and undo the evil at it root.
We walk in your footsteps, on the path of service to the poor,
and in spirit we are one with they who suffer and endure.
Amen

A Prayer for the Asian Americans Murdered in Georgia
Good and gracious God,
I know you are always with us both speaking and listening to us. Today, I bring the sadness of the Asian American community that were killed in Georgia. It reminded me of the times I spent at an Asian American school in Chicago, helping the teachers to work with students in the area of Math. They were interested, enthusiastic and attentive to their lessons. Each weekend they took their math books home for study. They strove to be good members of their class and of society.
This group in Georgia woke up thinking it was a day to bring that goodness to the society in which they live with the joy of the newness of the day and the opportunity to help themselves or others during this day. Instead, an unfortunately deranged man took their lives. Please help their families Lord, to continue to do the work you have planned for them. Help them to continue their kindness and consideration for all they come in contact with. Help them to realize the goodness and joy we experience in interacting with the Asian community with all the gifts and abilities they have. Help them to forgive the person who hurt their family's progress and goodness in life. There is no reason to hurt anyone of God's children but continue to give them the love and respect they deserve as members of the Body of Christ.
Dear Lord, we ask you to bless them and keep them in your warm embrace now in time of their need. We ask you this through Christ Our Lord. Amen.
